Get beginners cursive book first but jokes and riddles are a great way to keep kids engaged Got this for my daughter for xmas. Our school district doesn't teach cursive anymore and it really bothers me. They actually don't even teach correct penmanship so kids don't know how to properly form a letter... Grrr. My 10 yr old wants to learn cursive on her own. This appears to be pretty user friendly. Got her a beginners cursive book as well. Thought the jokes and riddles would keep her engaged and stick with writing in the book since she loves riddlesGood for the jokester to practice cursive! My son loves silly little jokes and hates writing. I bought this so he could keep up cursive over the summer and maybe it would be less painful if he was reading and writing jokes.
